Philip II, 247-249. Antoninianus (Silver, 21 mm, 3.68 g, 12 h), Antiochia, 249. IMP PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II to right, seen from behind. Rev. SAECVLVM NOVVM Hexastyle temple; within, Roma seated facing on base, holding spear in her left hand and palladium (?) in her right. Bland 106. C. -. Ovári 53B. RIC -. Very rare. Thin flan crack and with some minor weakness, otherwise, good extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
